Sinus Buster Starts to Provide Sinus Relief in Under One Minute; Significant Improvements in Nasal Symptoms Sustained During Two-Week Study

Results of a new controlled clinical trial show that Sinus Buster, a capsaicin-based nasal spray, provides very fast and effective relief for sinus/nasal congestion, sinus pressure and pain.   As an all-natural product, Sinus Buster is a safe, non-habit forming alternative to widely available medicated nasal sprays that can cause re-bound congestion if used for more than three days.

Morristown, NJ, December 7, 2009 – Buster Brands announced today the results of a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical study on Sinus Buster, a proprietary, all-natural, capsaicin-based nasal spray.  The study was completed by leading researcher Dr. Jonathan Bernstein, a professor and immunology/allergy research specialist at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Medicine, department of internal medicine, division of immunology/allergy.  The study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of Sinus Buster for the treatment of sinus and nasal congestion. 

The study included 42 subjects and measured the improvement in nasal congestion, sinus pressure, and pain. It also evaluated speed of action and key safety parameters. The study showed that subjects who received Sinus Buster experienced onset of relief in under one minute per a stopwatch assessment.  Sinus Buster subjects showed a statistically significant improvement in nasal congestion and sinus pain at each of the measured time points after first use (5, 10, 15, 30, 60 minutes).  The scores for all follow-up visits and daily diary entries over the two-week duration of the study also demonstrate a statistically significant improvement in key symptoms among Sinus Buster subjects.
